This week, we will have three special nights of Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Penance. I invite you to come and experience an encounter with Jesus in his presence in the Eucharist and with his mercy in confession. 

     These nights which we are calling “Light the Night,” will take place in the Mother of Dolors church at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – July 26, 27, and 28. There will be approximately one hour of adoration, during which Fr. Seth will be available for confession. Deacon Daniel will speak on a different aspect of the Eucharist each evening. On Wednesday, the topic will be Christ’s presence with us in the Eucharist. Thursday will be on the sacrifice of Jesus and what that means for us. And Friday will be on Christ’s presence in us and the grace we receive in communion. 

     Each evening will conclude with Benediction, and we will have some light refreshments and time for fellowship in the basement of the Church. 

     The time we spend in the presence of the Lord is when he can bless us and those we love. I invite you to come and experience his presence this week.
