It’s Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoebox time again. Please lift this ministry up in your prayers and pray for the children and their families around the world who will hear the beautiful stories of Jesus as they receive their shoeboxes this year. This is our opportunity to join many other local churches in a global ministry to change the lives of children that don’t have the same access to learn about and love Jesus like our children do.

There are boxes in the back of church, find the number on the box and sign next to the corresponding number on the list on the table. All the information you need is in the box. Have fun filling it and return it to the back of church by Sunday November 12th.

If you don’t want to fill an OCC Shoebox on your own, there are envelopes and notes on the table with the shoeboxes that show how to help in other ways. We will be packing some extra shoeboxes using the items and money you donate.

This is a wonderful way to teach our kids and grandkids to be generous to others and help other kids learn about Jesus. It’s also a heartwarming way for us to pack a shoebox in memory or honor of someone special in our lives. Knowing we are opening the hearts of children to the Word of God is a wonderful way to open our hearts to the Christmas season.
